GREENWICH OBSERVATORY

After living in London for over 4 years, I finally made it to Greenwich. I had never realised quite how special this area of London is! Chris finally convinced me to get on the DLR to Cutty Sark on this sunny day, and it was so worth it. Even though it’s right next to the skyscrapers of Canary Wharf, Greenwich feels like a small town, with lots of young families and green parks.

It’s a bit of a hike up the hill to the Greenwich Observatory, but the view makes it 100% worth the effort! The beautiful National Maritime Museum and Canary Wharf are right in front of you, and in the distance you can even spot St Paul’s and the Shard. I love the contrast between old and new!

London, I love you!!

This afternoon was also a great opportunity to take pictures of some of my recent fashion buys. This Free People dress was love at first sight when I saw it on Asos, and I wish I could wear it every single day! I got the boots and the bag in Madrid (way cheaper than buying them in London!) and I think I’ll be wearing them a lot this season.

black mango backpack

I’d been looking for a simple black leather backpack for months and this one is exactly what I had in mind. It’s perfect for carrying my camera and frees up my hands when I’m taking pictures!

We had such a lovely afternoon wandering around Greenwich! I’ll definitely be back soon and next time I’ll have to try the Emirates Air Line cable car.
